Kinder bespren ^^

After getting up from my bed this morning, I immediately reached my debut guestbook and signature frame to read my friends’ and relatives’ greetings.  I also checked my photo albums which were given to us by the Air Force family.

I was touched by ALL the greetings. It made feel that I have a LOT of people care for me, even if we do not see each other often.

And just like now. My Kinder and Grade 1 bestfriend IM-ed me, and asked me if  I have seen her scrapblog entry. I said, “No.”  And then she gave me a link to her site.

There it was. A greeting for me. She mentioned some of her memorable moments of our Kinder days. I cried.  I cried when she mentioned about the chick that I used to own. I think that she’s the only person who knew about that pet of ours. She also mentioned a Jollibee plate that my mother gave to her during my Grade 1 birthday party. She still has it. And I was surprised because I didn’t know anything about it.

Those were memories from a long time ago, but still hold special places in our minds and hearts.

Fanfiction Days…^^

I don’t know what came over me when I opened my yahoo mail, and frantically searched for some old exchange of emails and private messages with some friends and fellow authors in fanfiction.net.  And hurray, I managed to read some emails from PasifiKStar and Moonlight Shadow.

PasifiKStar is an institution when it comes to Final Fantasy VIII fanfics, I’ve always admired her works, and even read all of them! And it was surprising for me to know that she’s also a Filipina, however, she resides in the States and doesn’t know how to speak Tagalog. Hehe. Moonlight Shadow is another Filipina author whom I have met.  I had a lot of fun exchanging emails with her since we both strongly believe in destiny. That is why our stories have elements of destiny in it.

A month ago, I emailed the other authors in ff.net whom I made friends with.  I was so happy to receive a reply from them, and they even remember me! Haha.  One of my closest was Stardust Ray. She’s from the US, and also writes Squall-Rinoa fics    It’s so nice to hear from her again.   Also from Lil Doro! ^^,  She’s from Vietnam, I think

While I was writing to them, it made me remember the times when I was still so addicted in writing and reading fanfics. It was a wonderful experience for me to be addicted at that time, because that was when Squall-Rinoa fics were so hot. All of the most well-known authors of FF8 fics emerged at that time, and I was so grateful to be at the same time frame as they do.  Some of them even became my friends.

How I missed those days…  The authors who have been active when I was also active are now also inactive. Even PasifiKStar, heartillyangel, Lil Doro, and some others are now inactive.  I miss reading their works, I want new materials, and I want to write again.
Speaking of my writing, I want to erase all of my stories because they’re rubbish. I recently peeked at a chapter of one of my stories, and I really despised it. My writing was so elementary, so terrible, and immature. I was so 13 years old back then   I can’t believe I made Stardust Rayand Lil Doro read those rubbish. ^^

And so I want to comeback, I want to write again with my improved self. But when will I do it?

I miss the old days when I would just come home, turn on the PC, go to ff.net, check for new stories, read all the updates, review, email the author, period. I remember arriving at home at 6pm, already sit by the PC and fanfic mode up to 11pm.  When the clock strike at 11pm, that’s the only time when I will change my school uniform to house attire. ^^ Talk about addiction. ^^

Oh well, I have lots more to say about my fanfiction fondness 4-5 years ago. But I’m getting lazy. So, ja~

Review: La Corda D’Oro ~second passo~ Episode 2

DISCLAIMER: I am not anti-Kaji. Just anti-Kaho XD

Last March 26, the first episode of the much-awaited second season of the ultimate reverse harem anime “La Corda D’Oro” was aired.  Sadly, it took the creators three long months to release the second episode. The second episode was aired last June 5 and was subbed as early as June 6. So, yeah, you guys can watch it at any anime site now.

In the first episode, a new character was introduced. His name is Aoi Kaji. He’s an ex-violin player who transferred to Seisou Academy eversince he saw Hino playing the violin in a park, in which he said that he was moved by her music. What a lame reason.  And since he’s new, I think that it’s quite understandable why the second episode’s focus is all about him – his past, thoughts about playing the instrument, insecurities, etc.

It’s actually amusing for me to know that he’s insecure with Len’s skill in playing the violin. Haha. But I think that it’s stupid for him to quit the violin because of that. Forgive me Kaji fans, I hate quitters. Other than that, I hated him when he decided to play with ensemble of hot guys + Fuyumi-chan. Why? Because his cheesiness towards Kaho sickened me. The line “Your music still resonates in my heart” sucks big time. Don’t blame it on me, though, I might have enjoyed it if it was Len who said it. But what the heck, it’s still cheesy. Hehe.

There are only very few scenes which I liked in this episode. I pretty much despise 75% of it, actually. Why? Because Len’s screen time is way too short! I don’t know, maybe I just got annoyed for waiting three long months then see Len for just five minutes? Hehe. It actually took them long enough to feature him. His first appearance was on the twelfth minute and 12 seconds, and it only lasted for two minutes.  Talk about SHORT.  And his succeeding appearances were even shorter than that. >_<  Now how could I possibly enjoy it? XD

What else?  Another thing I liked about this episode was that Ryoutarou Tsuchiura’s a hottie once again! ^_^  I was disappointed at the first episode because he somewhat lost his appeal. But what the heck, he’s hot again!  And his first screen time in this episode was a scene of him playing the soccer. Imagine that! Hot! XD

Honestly though, the only moments when I felt ”kilig” were when during the Kaji x Ryoutarou and Kaji x Len moments. Haha. XD  It actually crossed my mind if the series would be better if it wereyaoi instead. XP Okay, scratch that last part.

So all in all, I didn’t love the episode. But it’s still a much watch for all you reverse harem fans like me. XD

Venue

Yesterday, I wasn’t able to go to the 3rd L’Arc~en~Ciel Convention because it’s the only time, I guess, that my family had been able to spend some time together.   We had lunch at Teriyaki Boy, the only Japanese restaurant that my mom likes.  As usual, I had Katsudon, Seafood Teppanyaki, Sushi, and Kani Salad.  It’s been a long time since I last ate there. XDDDD  The last time that I ate there with my family was after my highschool graduation last year.

After eating, we went to the venue for my debut.  It’s waaaaaaaaaay better than the one that my sister and I went to. It has a really nice ambience and huge.  Hehe.

This was released last April 17. I had this preordered but eventually cancelled it because I had a hard time figuring out how to give the money to Ate Rhodz. It’s a good thing that Ate Aira, my sister and I’s half-Nihonjin friend, went to Japan this summer.  As always, she asked me if I want anything there. I immediately asked for BoA’s BEST&USA albums and OLIVIA’s OLIVIA inspi’ REIRA (TRAPNEST) album. XDDD

The day before Ate Aira returned to the Philippines, she told me that I was lucky because in the music store near her house there, there was ONLY ONE limited edition of BoA’s albums left.  XDDD  But sadly, there’s no OLIVIA left.

Yatta! And now I have my copy in my hands! ^_^   The BEST&USA release has BoA’s 2nd JAPAN BEST (greatest hits collection) album  and  her US Debut album “BoA.”  I also have 2 bonus dvds for each album which I will be watching later.

Eventhough this 2nd Japan BEST album of BoA is inferior to her 1st BEST “Best of Soul,” this is still a good addition to my collection. Hehe.

Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu

Last night was interesting. Haha. Chet finally admitted that he wants to date Julie. Chet, Julie, Patty, Ate Marionne, and I were all chatting in the YM confe when Chet finally opened it up. Haha. It was a very entertaining night because Chet was so mushy and all which makes me want to puke, and Julie wasn’t convinced.  But it ended with Julie saying “yes” for Chet to court her. But if it doesn’t work out, then they would just remain as friends.

Now, while watching those two go at each other last night, it made me remember some bittersweet moments from the past that I simply want to forget.  I felt depressed and so I distracted myself by reading a manga. It’s title is Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu (Today, Love Starts) and I just learned of its existence due to Eury-san’s blog.

I started reading it but then become too engrossed with it. That freakin’ manga had me traveling back to the past again — and I hated it. But what the heck, I ended up reading it up to the 10th chapter in less than 45 minutes @_@

Woot. I hate this feeling of regret and those what-might-have-been-if-I-….. thoughts  >_<

Geog1 Last Day!

Okay, so ang finals namin sa Geog1 ay naging Food Fest.  So, 11am ay nagkita kami ni Patrick (aka Patty) sa Trinoma para bumili ng sushi at nachos na may ASIAN DIP.  Kasi Asian theme ang napunta samin.  Badtrip nga lang kasi for order pala ang 100 pcs na gusto namin. Haha.  Hindi kasi inorder ng mga pumunta dun the day before!!! Hmph. Haha.  So anyway, ang binili nalang namin ni Patty ay kung ano yung meron dun. Yung 40 + 35 +19 pcs ata. XDDD

Tapos ayun….  nagkainan kami sa school. Naging crush namin ni Julie yung mabait na cute from the other section XDDD  Nag-perform yung mga guys namin ng F4, tapos kami ni Julie eh sumayaw ng “Gee.”  Asian kung asian! Haha.

After ng kainan….  Tumuloy kami sa Red Box, Trinoma. XDDDD  Na-disappoint ako kasi onti lang ang East Asian songs. Ang pinaka-latest pa nila na nandun eh yung be with you. ni BoA @_@  But I sang it anyway. 

Enjoy ang party dun. Haha. Mejo mainit nga lang kasi nasira yung isang aircon XDDDD  Pero carry lang. Party kung party! Sumunod sina Sir, Ate Ney, Ate Veena, and friend nung mga bandang hapon. Sumunod si Ate Marionne at sumunod din si Nikki na umalis din agad @_@  Si Chet, as always, late na naman. Dumating xa nung after na namin kumanta @_@

Kuya Louie’s Birthday Party

Ang usapan ay 4pm magkikita-kita lahat sa Vinzons tas dun niya kami susunduin para sabay-sabay pumunta sa bahay nia.  Pero dumiretso na kami ni Ate sa bahay niya. Haha. Xempre wala xa dun at andun ang mama niya, si Tita Cora. Kaya carry lang

Natuwa ako nang may karaoke machine na nakalabas para sa bday ni Kuya! And take note, TJ PLATINUM machine xa! The same one na nasa Quantum sa SM Baguio! Haha. So ang ibig sabihin ay may Japanese and Korean songs dun!!!  Eh since wala pang tao at early birds kami sa party eh kumanta-kanta kami ni Ate.  XDDDD  Matagal ko nang close prend si Kuya kaya ang lakas ng loob kong kumanta-kanta dun kahit ang andun palang eh mga kapamilya niya :p

Aun, tapos dumating na sina Levin, Chris, Kuya Yeyey, Marvie, at Raisa. After nun…. Dumating narin ang iba. Haha.

Masarap ang food. Kaso crabs @_@  Allergic ako. Pero buti nalang at may dala si Ate na anti-allergy…. kaya onti lang ang nangati sakin. Haha.

After nun, more bonding moments with my elem+highschool and college friends. Natuwa nga ako nung time na yun kasi andun ang UPB friends at UPIS friends XDDDD  The best of two worlds ^_^

Mejo late na nga nung dumating si Mak… Nalungkot ako sa sandali naming kwentuhan. >_<  Mamimiss ko xa. Haha. Wala nakong kasabay kapag kakain sa KFC >_<  Tapos isa pa yung chitchat with Buddy. XDDD Pero carry lang ^_^  Okay nako ngayon.

Ginabi na nga kami dun eh. Kami ang pinaka-unang dumating, kami rin ang pinaka-late umalis. Nag-karaoke lang kami. Haha.  Natuwa ako sa TJ ni Kuya kasi updated ang Japanese and Korean songs. XDDDD

Japinoy 3rd Anniversary Celebration! ^_^

May 24, 2009 – Japinoy’s 3rd Anniversary Celebration

Ang saya-saya ng araw na to! At dahil may hang-over pako hanggang ngayon ay ibblog ko xa. Haha.

Dapat ay ihahatid ako nila mama sa venue kaso masyadong mainit pa ng mga 1:30pm kaya ayaw pang lumabas ni mama. So sabi ko eh mag-MRT nalang ako para mahabol ko pa sina Ate Roxy sa Gateway. At para maisabay ko narin ang aming mga bisita pauwi. Hehe.

Gateway —   Nag-text si Ate Roxy na kumakain xa sa Gateway kaya naman pagkababa ko sa Cubao MRT ay tumakbo nako papuntang Gateway. At dahil di pa xa nagrereply kung nasan xa ay inassume kong nasa food court xa kaya hinanap ko xa dun. LOL. Nag-reply si Ate Roxy at sinabi niyang nasa may MRT xa @_@  Haha.   So takbo na naman ako pabalik…

Nung nasa may Farmers nako, tumawag si Ate Roxy at nagkasalubong kami! Kasama niya si boyps niya at si Tito MJ. After nun, pinuntahan ni Ate Roxy yung iba naming mga kasamahan, tapos kami ni Tito MJ eh pinuntahan si Jobelle-san sa may babaan ng MRT.  Kaso wala si Jobelle-san dun. Mga ilang chorva rin ang lumipas bago namin nalaman kung nasan na talaga xa at naglakad/jog kami ni Tito MJ para puntahan xa. Hehe. Tapos, nagkita-kita na kami dun sa may tapat ng Dairy Queen.

Ayun, nakita ko ulit after a VERY LONG TIME sina Jen-san at Jed-san! ^_^ Tapos andun narin yung ibang newbies kaso nahihiya pakong kausapin sila. Hehe. So ayun, nagtalunan kaming mga fangirls at excited na bumalik ng Gateway para i-meet sina Carlo-san and his Japinoy officemates. ^_^

After nun, naglakad na kami papuntang sakayan ng jeep, having Carlo-san as our navigator. Salamat naman at nagkasya kami sa jeep, given na ang dami namin @_@  Sumabit na lang sina Carlo-san at Tito MJ >_<  Ewan talaga namin kung saan ang place kaya wala kaming maisagot kay kuya jeepney kung saan kami bababa.  Eventually ay bumaba kami sa may 15th Ave ata.

Naglakad na naman kami. Tapos nag-stop over sa Mini Stop nung sinabi ni Tito MJ na bibili lang xa ng inumin. Haaay aircon! Haha XDDDD

So ayun, natuwa kami nung naglakad ulit kami kasi malapit na kami sa venue. At ayun nga, nakita namin ang Japinoy banner! ^_^

Mga 1 hour late na kami nun. Pag pasok namin, registration, upo, kwentuhan. Ganun. XDDD Tapos start na! ^_^   Sinimulan ni Elvin-san at Cat-san ang event by singing  ^_^  Hindi ko naman naintindihan pero carry lang   Tapos dun ko lang nalaman na ang Wai-gent pala ang pagbigkas ng username ni Elvin-san at hindi Wiiiii-gent. Hehe. Shame on me, ilang taon nakong member @_@  Come to think of it, onga no. Complete attendance kami nila Dan-san at Ate Dards sa lahat ng Annivs. XDDDD

Karaoke Contest – Ang first event ay Karaoke Contest. Ang unang contestant ay si maakusutipen-san. Mark Stephen pala real name niya, hence the katakana username. Anyhoo, he sang a CHEMISTRY song. Di ko alam yung kanta pero carry lang kasi maganda pagkakakanta niya ^_^

Next ay si Tito MJ, kinanta niya ang Konayuki ng Remioromen (1LoT OST). Hehe. Basta. Natatawa ako sa mga pangyayari before and during his performance :p

Tita Fei was sang after Tito Mj. XDDD Ang kanta niya ay Glamorous Sky ni Mika Nakashima (NANA movie OST; COMPOSED BY HYDE).  Sorry kay Tita Fei kasi di ko napigilan ang sarili kong tumili-tili nung nakita ko name ni HYDE sa screen XDDD Hehe.  Ganda ng boses niya ^_^  *futari aruita Glamorous Days*

And then, after ni Tita Fei ay si Dan-san naman XDDD  Tulad nang kay Tito MJ ang comment ko rito. Haha. Pero ang kinanta niya ay Remioromen song din — March 9.

Tapos… after ni Dan-san, ang huling kumanta ay si Diane-san (ang may-ari ng house at tita ng chepar ni Gytha). Grabe, natahimik kaming lahat nung kumakanta xa. Ang cute ng boses niya at ang ganda pakinggan! ^_^  No wonder she won. XDDDD

Ayun, tapos pinalabas muna ang contestants after nun para makaboto kami ^_^  Dun ko lang din pala nalaman na kasama ako sa mga judge.

Warioware —-  Yung next activity namin ay yung Warioware sa Wii. XDDDD Basta ito yung gagawin mo lang kung ano yung pinapagawa sayo. Haha. XDDDD Ayoko na masyadong i-kwento to dahil bitter ako at 7 points lang ako XDDDDD  Adik si maakusutipen-san eh XDDDD

Human Bingo — Hindi nako umabot dito @_@

Basta ayun, enjoy ang event. Na-meet ko na ang mga parati kong nakakausap online tulad nila jen-chan, Joe Sanzou-san, emperorcaius-san, ashte-san, etc. XDDDD  Nagulat pa ako kay tesha-san kasi nag-practice teaching daw xa sa UPIS nung Grade 4 ako. Haha. Friend niya dun yung adviser ko nung Grade 4 ako na si Sir Jonell at yung math teacher ni Ate na si Mam Bennagen. XDDD Wala lang. Small World talaga.

Ang food namin dun ay maki at yakisoba. Kaso sa sobrang dami kong nakuhang yakisoba at masakit ang ngipin ko eh binigay ko nalang kay Pakks. Mabuti naman at naubos niya ^_^

Ano pa ba? Katuwa kasi ang dami ring fangirls dun… Xempre given na si Jen-neechan, Jobelle-san, at Ate Roxy XDDD Nakisama rin sina yamapi michiko-san at YuyaNoHime-san. Natuwa naman ako kay YuyaNoHime-san kasi alam niya yung kantang Nanairo no Ashita ~brand new beat~ kaso di na namin nakanta kasi hindi nakikisama yung Kumyoung. Hehe.

Sayang nga lang at sinundo ako nila mama ng saktong 7pm @_@  Buti nalang at naabutan ko ang group pic.  Hehe. Pero di ko naabutan ang Human Bingo at Awarding.  At iba pang announcements >_<
